The complainant lodged a complaint with Crime PS on 01-11-2011 regarding Creating Fake face book Account and posting of defamatory / offensive / Obscene comments of face book account t made by the accused, complainant was registered as Cr. No. 62/2011 U/s 66 (A) (D), 67 IT Act 2008, Sec 507, 509 IPC and investigated by M. Srinivasa Rao, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime PS, CID, Hyderabad.
During the course of investigation, after examination of witnesses and after analyzing the IP log details technically the accused Mr. Mohammed Osman Ali @ Minhaz (AGE: 21) resident of Nalgonda was successfully identified and was arrested on 24-02-2012. On interrogation he confessed that he had Created the face book account of the victim and transmitted vulgar comments from the computer system of friends computers and data cards. He also stated in the face book that victim is going to deliver baby shortly and attached false visuals of child birth and breast feeding tips in the take face book.
The accused confessed that he developed affection and love with victim lady but she and her family members rejected the proposal this he bore grudge against her and created the fake face book profile on her name by uploading her photo, mobile numbers and personal details with absence text, she started received so many strange phone calls as such she felt annoyed humiliated and defamed .
At the instance of the accused, one Hard Disk, Data Card, Nokia Mobile phone which was used in the commission of offence was seized and he is sent for judicial remand.
Caution to Public :
1. Do not think that internet communication is anonymous: it is not difficult to trace the criminal.
2. Please do not lend your computers and internet for others if they commit crime, you also will be held responsible.
